HSA was founded in 2002 by Juan Herrera and Stephen Stafford as a metallurgical and accident recreation consulting firm. Our team of engineers has combined 55 years of experience. The firm has had ongoing relationships with various organizations in oil & gas, energy, litigation, civil, medical devices, aeronautical, and electronics companies.
Our facility in El Paso, Texas has a scanning electron microscope, multiple light microscopes and stereoscopes. We have machining capabilities, Charpy impact testing and hardness testing. Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy and optical emission spectroscopy capabilities for elemental analysis and metal and alloy identification.
